Hi there,

New to the PP and living in UK. My work pension 401k doesn't have gold but there is the options of cash bonds and stocks. Should I consider a 33% split between cash stocks and bonds and rebalance annually? I plan to purchase gold via my sipp personal pension in near future. Many thanks and glad to join the community.

Sure, it doesn't matter where exactly you keep each component of the PP. In fact, spreading over institutions is a great idea.

Thanks for that. I take it I can rebalance annually or is it quarterly?
