Would be nice, though, to have seen gold up, with all the babble about wage pressure and inflation.

Interesting chart. I'm not familiar with that commodities index, but the ratio of gold alone to the S&P 500 is much different.

Diversification hurt with the $ rising and yields climbing. PP and 70/30 performed about the same.
Disappointed in Gold, but it held up relative to silver.
Pretty much a total washout.
Question is where will yields top out?

I think the 20 year Treasury tops out at 4.9%. Which means the 20 year Treasury has another 24% to fall. Which would be a 36% drop from June 15, 2016. I would say that's a worse case. Why do I think that? Ah... just guessing. If I could predict bond interest rates, I'd be Czar of Texas.
