Fed gets a bit more hawkish.... gold drops, stocks drop, bonds flat.... then a rocket for stocks.
Don't get me wrong, I am 25% in stocks of course, but I really would like some explanation that ideally doesn't involve paper gold, plunge protection team, etc. Is there any?

FED hints at a rate hike in December. The natural reaction is the economy is strong enough to justify a rate hike. Stocks rise, gold and treasuries fall (as usual).
I found a way to enjoy this. Hold more stocks. Now I'm not worried about gold going down because equities at a higher percentage overcome the losses.
Gold and treasuries are for suckers

As a swede I could see the USD skyrocket so the price of gold in USD had to be pushed down because there was no change in demand for gold.
