Every holding getting creamed today.

You heard it here first.  I decided to go into the PP.  There is now going to be 20 years of negative returns with it...

I deposited over $100 worth of coins today. That's about the only thing that went up.  ;)

On a side note, mother warned me there would days like this. Come to think of it, so did Harry Browne and Jack Bogle. Which is why it is really important not to spend your days watching CNBC or checking the latest from the financial websites (except this one of course). I had no idea anything of note had happened in the financial markets, not that anything of note really did happen, until I popped in here tonight.

I will agree with your statement once I have a few years of this under my belt.  At this point I am having some confirmation bias issues, trying to convince myself I did the right thing wile seeing all markets drop the past two days.

If anything though, I am WAY less down than where I would have been when I was nearly exclusively in gold and silver.

I stopped reading Zero Hedge and a few other mainly negative/conspiratorial blogs a couple months ago, and I tell you it was a good thing to do.

Yeah, I think that is a common feeling initially.  You might feel a little antsy until you sort of experience how it works to protect you.

Try to relax and give it a chance.  You'll be glad you did.
