Thanks for the article. Very representative of someone with just enough math to hurt himself. He got all the numbers right, but has no idea what they mean.

When anyone starts planning allocations with functions fed by volatility and variance numbers... Unless they add at least a 50% bullshit factor into the equation... well, that is just a lack of experience.

honestly i didn't make it far either... something about a mathematical look at the permanent portfolio and it has no cash and 10yr bonds ?
