I've long been following the discussions on the Bogleheads forums about factor investing. I happen to be a big advocate of factor and multifactor funds. As such, I've long lamented the greater selection and easier access to more diverse products in the US markets. DFA funds come up a lot, which is not surprising given Larry Swedroe's visibility in the community.
I've recently discovered that a company called Manulife has actually engaged DFA as the subadvisor to all of their multifactor funds. Canadians now have easy access to DFA management in ETF format. It took me a while to discover this since the funds fly under the Manulife banner, and not DFA.
Finally we have comprehensive small cap value (plus quality factor!) access in Canada! Woohoo!
