Given the items on the financial horizon, the PP does seems a good match.... QE3 might happen and might lead to inflation. Fiscal cliff might be crossed and might lead to recession/deflation. Cats and dogs make friends and start the next big bull stock market. Or just standard market uncertainty!

As for my PP journey, Started in August with a little PERM (my first brokerage/ETF purchase) and PRPFX in smaller IRA account. Most of my investments are in "Ultimate buy and hold"-ish portfolios (yeah, I'm a tinkerer) in IRA and 401(k). Was relatively pain free to move some of the intermediate bond to LTT, and already had Short term and stock. Gold was the hardest, but have moved some stocks to IAU to match my LTT percentage.
Stocks. Ow mostly in a "trev h" ish, Ultimate by and hold inspired allocation - 1/2 TSM; equal parts SV, ILV, ISB, plus a bit of REIT. Less tilt percentage, but in the basic buckets.
Now to see how it goes and figure out what to do with my remaining accounts - 401(k) where brokerage is expensive and doesn't allow ETF of Stocks (yearly purchase of PRPFX maybe), and some funds at T. Rowe Price IRA (I like keeping accounts separate - probably sub-optimal, but what I'm compfortable with....)
