Re: Trump's 4D chess strategy is winning

No vast conspiracy needed. . . It's just an iteration of the "give them enough rope" theme.

CDB

Have any of you had experience with CDB oil? My hands are hurting nearly all the time now from arthritis, so my ears perked up when I heard that CDB might offer some relief. However, I see nothing on the internet about the mechanism of action, even less about dosage or frequency. Is it something you...

Re: Sophie--Are you okay?

I wonder what kind of electrical back-up would be suitable for an apartment situation. I've got an inverter-type generator that is the size of a piece of carry-on luggage and that weighs about 50 pounds. It is reasonably quiet and literally sips gas because it throttles up and down depending upon th...

Re: The Permanent Mental Health Regime

Here's a question (albeit a little tangential) that I've just been dying to ask: Are there any studies that compare the outcome of cancer patients who go through the standard treatment protocols and those who do nothing? I'm guessing that the data is limited due to the fact that you can't very well ...

Re: The Permanent Mental Health Regime

So WiseOne, would you mind clarifying your point of view specifically with regard to the battery of tests that GPs recommend as patients cross particular ages? (In my case, 40?) I'm not sure exactly what they are: colonoscopy, heart CT, etc? I'd be interested in knowing this, too. Machine Ghost is ...

Re: The Permanent Mental Health Regime

It doesn’t take a scientific study to know that spending some time with a cuddly cat or friendly dog will probably put you in a better mood. That being said, researchers from Washington State University have found objective, physiological evidence that just 10 minutes spent petting a cat or dog wil...

Re: ICE Raids

Even if you could argue, with a straight face, that illegal aliens are entitled to representation in Congress, the principled way of going about the census--as with any issue--is to lay bare the unadulterated facts, which are what they are, and to argue from there what the Constitution says about th...

Octonia, are you maintaining that representatives may be apportioned to persons who are present in the country illegally? I don't see history as supporting that contention since slaves and women at least had a lawful presence.

Re: ICE Raids

I've been meaning to read the court's opinion, but I'm with you--I can't fathom how you can exclude from a census designed to count citizens for purposes of apportioning representatives any mechanism for identifying and counting citizens. But I'm past looking for logic when it comes to these things....

Re: The Permanent Mental Health Regime

I understand the sentiment of the people wanting to poop on the idea of taking extra steps to maintain your mental/emotional health. Maybe this whole idea seems wishy washy. However, you probably are in a lucky position to have never been in dire straits in this regard -- some of us have not been s...

this stuff just gets harder to hide as we go forward, which is good. Not that I'd argue that prostitution and rape of minors is a good thing but....the loss of anonymity seems like it will be bad overall. Less freedom of expression, freedom of association, people less willing to speak out and expre...

No. 7 could expanded to include unnecessary exposure to situations and information (especially via internet) that has the effect of making us feel helpless in the face of a world spiraling out of control. A digital currency controlled by an intelligence operative whose unabashed goal is centralized control over every aspect of your life is the banking cartel's wet dream.

Re: Any PP Defectors Here?

In a nutshell, what concerns me is the possibility that the negative correlations upon which the PP is based won't function as anticipated. In the past, a crash in one sector meant, invariably, that money would flow to another. Have we ever experienced a situation where that didn't happen? Is it pos...

Any PP Defectors Here?

Over the last several months, the chorus of commentators predicting a cataclysmic crash has become deafening. Some of the voices are, from everything I can tell, reasonably well respected. A number of them have opined that what's different this time is that BOTH the equity and bond markets are unsus...

We've known for a number of years now--well predating Trumps entre into politics--that Bill Clinton was a frequent guest on the Lolita Express. You've got to wonder. . . Why now? And for whom (or for what faction) was Epstein amassing control files?

It crossed my mind to ask what monumental event(s) might be about to occur that would require something this scandalous to divert the public's attention?

Shall we also ban face masks for bank robbers?

My point is this: If your intent is to enforce the law, as opposed to continually standing down, it doesn't matter one hoot whether the perp is wearing a face mask or not. The jail strip search pretty much bares all.
