Spending your MONEY in real assets, not PAPERS

HELLO, Acumulate all your savings and save money to a PP+VP is a complete headeache... It is RISKY and boring :-) Do you have any other SMART ways to spend a big part of your savings? Examples: # LAND # HOUSES / APARTMENTS # PRECIOUS METALS # ART ? # COLLECTION ITEMS, old cars... I wait more options...

ETF Fraud - Documents to proove

Hi,

what kind of documents shall we ask to the broker to be sure that they invested our money in the ETF's ?

I'm afraid to use a broker that can do something wrong.

Re: Best Variable Portfolio

I think that allocation or something similar is fine for a European VP.  I like the idea of foreign investors diversifying with a certain percentage into a US PP because of the reserve currency factor. My only change would be to make it a little more PP-like however. HBPP-US ? Please explain. Fruga...

Re: Still a bit perplexed by direct gold ownership

By that point of view, CASH should be at home like GOLD, so 50% of total PP ?

Cash in a SOLID country returns almost 0%!

Thank you.

Re: Still a bit perplexed by direct gold ownership

Hi,

For me it is also tough to diversify so much.

Diversify is important, is more expensive, takes more time to manage...

- several brokers
- several etfs for each of the 4 assets of hbpp

How ETFs can be fraud?

Re: Optimization REMOVING Cash

Why not just 33/33/33? Is the reason why you're considering your cash as separate from the PP because you can't bear to part with your 4% CDs?  ;) 33% x 3 is another option. There's no optimal %'s, right? I'm young and I have CD's as you said and real REIT. Also 1,3% more per year will make a big d...

Optimization REMOVING Cash

Hi,

I am thinking to consider to remove cash from my PP.
I have another Cash positions already.

The 25% of CASH of the portfolio shall then go to STOCKS? 50% ?
Or 12,5% for Stocks + 12,5% for long term bonds?

What is the best option in you opinion?

Thank you.

Re: 80-90% of your Total Savings in PP

For me it is a bit strange how someone can INVEST almost ALL his savings in a PP.

I am so used to CD's that covers the inflation. On your countries, as your CD's don't cover INFLATION, you had to discover another strategies earlier...

Please advice.

Re: Master list of PP component ETF/MFD options

Here are some suggestions for European PP holders. Not sure if you can fit them into your list. I advise European PP holders to focus on Germany for the cash and bonds part so that's what I based my suggestions on. Cash: EXVM: eb.rexx Government Germany Money Market EXHB: eb.rexx Goverment Germany ...

Hello,

so for 10.000 USD or 10.000.000 USD

70 to 80% should be in HBPP

Is this right?

Thanks
