Re: Trump as tragicomedy

My wife is of Chinese descent. I am interested to know if Trump calling it the Chinese Virus is offensive to you. If it started in Italy, or Canada, do you think he'd be calling it the Italian Virus or the Canadian Virus? *Yes, I know there's the Spanish Flu, but that was 100 years ago.* Italy has ...

Daily PP Performance Data

Hey guys, What tools are you guys aware of that can allow one to track PP performance on a daily basis? This as opposed to annual and monthly data sets. Things are moving just too fast for monthly data right now. Yes, I can just look at my brokerage account data, but I also want to play with varying...

Smith, you're the one of the last people I'd guess had depression, even in the past. I guess one never knows. The truth is that I've had rather poor mental health for most of my adult life. It started when I was 19 years old (now 31) when my college sweetheart broke up with me. From then on a kind ...

Browne said that instead of Treasury Bills, keeping cash deposited in 3 FDIC insured banks was an acceptable alternative.

We still see to this day that Browne was ahead of his time.

Re: Xan! Forum Stats!

I am getting the same impression overall as well. If we are correct in surmising there has been an increase, I suppose I'd attribute it to:

1) an increase in interest in the PP due to the recent market crash;
2) posters who don't have work to go to (like me) have some more spare time.

Arnold S was a Republican, correct! Were you there when he was governor? If so, what was your evaluation of him? He had two terms? Love him as an actor. Just saw a great one of him the other night that was in total contrast to all his other roles. He'd lost his wife and daughter in a plane crash in...

Somebody on my wife's Facebook earlier was saying what a reversal it was from her teenage years, that now she's yelling at her parents for going out instead of the other way around. last time I had a cold my dad kept pushing me to see the doctor, implying that not doing so was irreponsible. I ended...

Re: Brace for a gigantic increase in cases

That kind of thing is easy to say, but I think you're ignoring the cost of overreacting. It's the people with kids who suddenly have no job that I most worry about. The whatever-huge-percent it is that can't weather a $400 unexpected cost. Yes, maybe they "should" be better about managing...
