Re: PHAU vs XAD1 vs VZLD
EXPENSES FEES
PHAU and VZLD 0,39%
XAD1 - 0,29%
do you confirm that XAD1 is the cheapest?
Can I use 3 ETF's for gold? The Sum of commissions is the same! And we can decrease risk, no?
Shall we decide depending in any other feature?
Thanks

- the high price of Gold doesnt allow me to easly buy gold physic Unless you have an extremely small portfolio, why would it be easier to buy if the price was lower? Sounds like you need to just bite the bullet and buy the bullion. PS, It depends on the portfolio size? How? A gold sovereign, which ...

We always only live once. Exactly. So use some of your money to do things you enjoy. If you could amass a fortune over your investing lifetime, what good is it if you don't enjoy yourself along the way? Sorry the error, i didnt pay attention. Hi,
what kind of documents shall we ask to the broker to be sure that they invested our money in the ETF's ?
I'm afraid to use a broker that can do something wrong.

Re: Best Variable Portfolio
I think that allocation or something similar is fine for a European VP. I like the idea of foreign investors diversifying with a certain percentage into a US PP because of the reserve currency factor. My only change would be to make it a little more PP-like however. HBPP-US ? Please explain. Fruga...

By that point of view, CASH should be at home like GOLD, so 50% of total PP ?

Re: Optimization REMOVING Cash
Why not just 33/33/33? Is the reason why you're considering your cash as separate from the PP because you can't bear to part with your 4% CDs? ;) 33% x 3 is another option. There's no optimal %'s, right? I'm young and I have CD's as you said and real REIT. Also 1,3% more per year will make a big d...

Optimization REMOVING Cash
Hi,
I am thinking to consider to remove cash from my PP.
I have another Cash positions already.
The 25% of CASH of the portfolio shall then go to STOCKS? 50% ?
Or 12,5% for Stocks + 12,5% for long term bonds?
What is the best option in you opinion?
Thank you.
