Re: The GOLD scream room

It's funny, I hold many of the stocks in your list: KO, CVX, VZ; used to hold PFE & SPHIX. I usually don't sell, period, unless I have a very compelling reason. It's like a homemade Wellesley fund.

Re: The GOLD scream room

Btw, I don't know how it appears to others, but for me the smugmug image is illegible. I tried every which way to loa...

I can't. I think the last time this conversation came up, it ended with someone saying, "Some people just like that new bond smell."

I meant to post it this morning -- sorry about that. Too many contractors calling, and calling about nothing, really.

Still have time, though.

Thanks, Barrett. I was thinking about buying i-Bonds this year. I've been blowing them off for many years now. Can't say I'm tempted by the numbers. Luckily, I have some major home ownership expenses coming up, so I don't have the cash to be bothered with the decision.

China's Growing Influence on Hollwood

The thread title is something I've encountered often in the news lately.

Shouldn't the US$ price or one's home currency price matter more?

Yeah, DCA mostly just feels better.
But with new money coming in at regular intervals to invest, it's the only choice after the initial investment.
