Re: Computer stuff
Say what you will about Microsoft, and I've said plenty, but their backwards compatibility is really good. There shouldn't be any software that runs on 10 that won't run on 11. Just got my answer: "Microsoft released the Windows 11 operating system on October 5, 2021. Currently, only QuickBook...

Re: Computer stuff
Do be aware that Windows 10 spies on you a lot, but Windows 11 apparently does so even more.

Re: Computer stuff
I think the biggest issue (which is another way of saying what you're saying, dualstow), is that if you wait a year before using your new machine, you could have gotten a year newer machine for the same money. And that's not counting the 5% you would have earned on your cash during that year.

Re: Computer stuff
Good to know. I’ve had 16GB forever, and was looking to put 32GB in the next Mac mini. Although, I don’t need the power (for lack of a better word) that you guys need. I used to be able to have a reseller add RAM and other things, but as you well know, Mac RAM is now soldered in so you have to buy ...

I would have thought Wells Fargo would fall in the "too watched to scam you" category but it seems to keep happening.

Terrifying.
I do happen to know that preservative-free eyedrops come in individual containers, so that would have been a red flag for me, but that's just luck, basically.

Many things in the world would have been different if not for the American Revolution. Top of the list is the relationship between Britain and her colonies. I don't think we can reliably play "what if" in that regard.
