Re: GOP defending Confederate legacy?

Ok, but be careful what you wish for. What you're wishing for is basically a Hunger Games type government, centralized thousands of miles away and not listening at all to local concerns. I hope I got my movie analogy close to correct, because truthfully I only ever sat through half of the first Hun...

Re: GOP defending Confederate legacy?

I agree, the whole "state government" thing was just a convenient better sounding BS argument that they could use to rationalize the true reason they went to war. They wanted states to have power because their state would allow them to continue to pursue their selfish dehumanizing actions...

Nice to see you doing your thing, Budd! People on forums and on the radio never look like what I imagine. I pictured you as a blond, almost Dutchman 😂. Probably because of ZA. Boy was i off. “Most” gyms have these pieces of equipment. You rotate the cube for different depths. Amazon has them for sure! TBH though, Vinny, if you're squat is still at 160 I don't think you need bother even think about box squats. Just keep doing back squats for now. Are you still progressing on SS? I plate...

Here’s a safety bar squat 405# to 20” https://gofile.io/d/0AaYvf I’m hovering around 210# at the moment. Until I watched that I'd never seen such a setup. Mine is quite primitive in comparison with nothing underneath me and the bar (and weights) resting on my shoulders. Fell over once backwards. Bu...

I don't remember anything like this happening in 1968-69. Does anyone else here know if it did? "Antifa is reportedly seeking armed volunteers to take turns manning barricades and holding ground that protesters have seized within Seattle city limits." https://www.breitbart.com/politics/20...

So far, I don't know that a single other soul has looked at the John McWhorter interviews I've posted. It may be because there are more than a dozen threads on the riots now and I haven't kept up with all of them. Or, it may simply be that the videos are too damned long! How about just a few minute...

Thanks for the kind words. I have been bodybuilding and powerlifting religiously since turning 16 years old (over 30 years now). Believe it or not, my Squat, Bench and Deadlift (Big 3) totals are not even competitive in my age group among natural lifters. As I matured my lifts rose as well and only...

How does the free weight area look? According to 24-hour fitness policy you have to schedule a 60-min session the prior day and the club closes promptly between customer sessions to sanitize. My partner and I usually spend roughly 2-3 hours per workout so this structure is a non-starter for us. I h...

Do all dog people know and agree with this? "Please note: Xylitol should not be given to animals—particularly not dogs. There are many human foods that are dangerous for dogs—grapes, chocolate, and raisins, to name a few. Xylitol is another of these foods, and it’s best kept away from animals.&...

Gotcha . . . I know it's not a fun or popular thing to talk about. But I'm just a crazy guy on the internet, so wh...

In Kenya, they have a strong family structure, so things work fine. Here, they don't have a strong family structure, and things aren't working fine. People I know in Arizona told me that during the whole time of stay at home, if you went into a Home Depot or Lowes, only 1 in 20 people were wearing masks. Including store personnel. And the stores were very busy. So I can imagine that once general society actually opened up, people were not going...

Are police (and frankly government across the board) out of control? Absolutely. The rule of law is a joke these days. Police are exempted from the laws the supposedly enforce. There's no recourse or accountability. That is absolutely a problem. But it's not a race problem. It's an issue for everyo...
