Well, so many of the ones about Trump turn out to be complete bullshit.

Re: Senate hearings on Facebook, Twitter

Re: Celebrating the end of the COVID-19 pandemic
So to claim that the pandemic is done is pretty much accurate. You could argue that epidemic conditions still exist in isolated pockets of the US, but that's really about it. If you stopped all PCR testing tomorrow and just let life go back to normal, I bet we wouldn't see anything particularly not...

Re: Well Duh - Mail in Voting Attack Backfires?
I’ve always thought voting machines should work like an 70’s-80’s style cash register. Voter records their vote on the machine, receives a paper receipt, and the same information is recorded on an internal paper tape. The votes could still be tabulated electronically, but there would be paper backup...

Re: Senate hearings on Facebook, Twitter
So far what these hearings are revealing to me is that the heads of Google, Twitter, Google are both far more honest and intelligent than are the senators that we have. And, why each of them are the heads of their organizations. These senators are just totally out of their depth in trying to match ...

Tucker Carlson / Tony Bobulinski Interview
As some of you may be aware, Tucker Carlson interviewed Hunter Biden’s ex-business partner Tony Bobulinski on his show last night. Bobulinski claimed that Joe Biden’s brother, Jim, said that he and Biden’s son were relying upon “plausible deniability” as they pursued a lucrative deal with a Chinese ...

You probably got lucky, pp4me. I have tried to sell bills/bonds several times. In one case I ran into a problem where I had bought a lot in an amount less than $10K, but the software insisted I needed to sell an amount of at least $10K. A few months later I was finally (after multiple attempts) abl...

Re: Coronavirus General Discussion
Has anyone considered the possibility that *nothing* that any governing body has done has either promoted or prevented the spread of the virus? In other words, the spread of the virus is not anyone's fault. It's not Trump's fault, it's not Cuomo's fault, and so on. It's about the biology of epidemi...

Re: Dueling town halls tomorrow evening
I haven't watched the whole thing, but Biden's performance has me scratching my head. For the longest time, the conventional wisdom among Trump supporters was that Biden was a completely incoherent dementia patient that would be stumbling all over himself, unable to construct or maintain any logic ...

As Gov Cuomo and his extensive PR team attempt to “reimagine” his response to COVID-19, here’s a Twitter thread to remind everyone what an epic fail it really was.

This story has been going on and information has been trickling out for 3+ years, it’s not anything new. It’s just been ignored by most of the media.
What has changed recently is that we’re finally getting to see some of the damning evidence.

I just think that 30 years ago, most people didn't care too much about politics. I did, and probably many of you did. But my typical bowling league buddies, not as much as today. Everyone had opinions, but it wasn't such a big deal. Everyone today is really into it. Government is not supposed to me...

The increasing division in the US correlates with the rise of social media and the increasing ease of sharing information (and disinformation). Related to the health/nutrition conversation, should large and powerful companies be allowed to serve people information and interactions that create addict...
