Re: Putin Invades Ukraine II
Posting an image 4 days after the invasion and reports from 2014...pales in comparison to the unmitigated atrocity of the Russians over the past 9 months. I'm certain there are war crimes going both ways, but every report shows the mass preponderance perpetrated by the Russians. I see why the Ukran...

I hope it works. The electricity usage is a problem. The electricity usage is what makes it fair and scarce. How else do you fairly distribute the money over time? Anyone can get paid to do the work to secure the network. It's similar to how gold has been fairly distributed over the centuries, peop...

Re: A history lesson for our crypto trolls
There are so many things working against crypto that it almost has to fail, at least in this early phase. That's been my approach to it. If it ever becomes relatively stable and useful, then I'm interested. I have never felt the FOMO need to make money on it on the way up. I'm of the opinion that B...

Re: The Fourth Branch of Government
I'm constantly noting how in my local newspaper most of the articles seem to be about government and the people in government. On a relative basis the articles on business achievers are few. Hah, I wrote to a newspaper editor one time and pointed out the same thing. The whole paper was always about...

Re: The Fourth Branch of Government
There comes a point, after the student loans are canceled, the stimulus checks stop, and the credit cards are maxed out, that the money runs out and that the productive members of society get tired of being shit on and simply refuse to pull the wagon. At that point, the do-nothings are going to hav...

This is a holistic movement. If you have any reach with dissenting thoughts, you can be free speech and financially strangled. Yay digital money!
And the big institutions are falling all over themselves to do it! In supposedly the “freest country on earth”.

Vinny, they froze people’s bank accounts. How does a normal person then live, let alone send money to a cause?

The disinformation scam and other threats to free speech
Here’s a long but excellent article by Glenn Greenwald on the dirty truth behind the fact-checking movement, the alliances between intelligence agencies and big tech and big media, and the mainstreaming of suppressing dissent. Wikipedia wasn’t mentioned but they are part of it. I’ve always loved Pay...

I'm now in third week of "being sick". But super mild and similar to what I have experienced other times in my life - pre-Covid. But for you who have definitely had Covid: Medium COVID Could Be the Most Dangerous COVID After you’re infected, the first few months may pose the greatest risk...

Well, pre-Trump, a GOP White House was about the same, no?
And that's why Trump had to be taken down.

So now the establishment lapdog press is telling us about Hunter’s apparent misdeeds. Okay in late 2020 I said this would happen when they decided it was time for Joe to go. This could be the beginning of making sure he doesn’t run next time. Let’s see. I’m not much into conspiracies but this one se...

I don’t know what you call the symbol that appears next to the site name, but it’s the Breitbart symbol. From safari on my iPad.

Well, now it’s gone, replaced with a gray G. Hmmmm. I had not been on Breitbart.

Sure we still get colds, and that might be what you have.
If you have unusual fatigue that comes and goes over the next couple of weeks, that would suggest Covid to me.
