Re: The Boy Who Cried Wolf
I didn't ask about your neighbors . You already said you did not fear them, though I wonder if your feelings would change if you overheard one of them say they think people like your child ought to be be dead. There really is no escaping a tyrannical federal government. Governments do have authorit...

Re: The Boy Who Cried Wolf
One big difference..... I fear the government far more than my neighbors. Fair enough. I'm curious if you have some specific fear. I guess I don't fear my neighbors because they are peers. And if I have a problem I can move to a different neighborhood, city, state, etc. If you're gay and fear gay-h...

There has to be a way around a preemptive pardon, if the corruption is worthy of prosecution in the first place, like many believe.

Re: The Boy Who Cried Wolf
Again with Nazi Germany comparisons? Do you really fear that scenario unfolding? I think there are a million miles of separation between building a wall to better control who's coming into our country illegally, and rounding people up and putting them in ovens. I'm also very confused why gays are so...

The Boy Who Cried Wolf
Liberals need to re-read that book. From what I can tell they are currently labeling ALL Trump voters, possible cabinet members and non-mainstream media as: -Racist -Sexist -Homophobe -Anti-Semite -Nazi -Alt-Right -White supremacist -Uneducated -Deplorable -Anti-Muslim I'm sure I missed a few, but I...

Re: The Authoritarians
Returning to a previous topic (but don't let me sidetrack you from the Israel/Palestine debate): There appears to be a double standard among Western countries as regards illegal immigration/asylum seekers policies. I think these two can indeed be conflated, because they are actually indistinguishab...

moda, Certainly not all on the left are globalists, however Obama & Clinton are HUGE globalists. So essentially the party has thrown in with the globalists. Now, I would definitely agree that there are many Republicans that are also globalists....... Bush, establishment R's, Fox News by and larg...

His assessment of Trump using "persuasion" like he does actually fit into the mold of fascistic leaders that try to push a nativism/nationalism angle What in the world is wrong with a leader looking out for their own people first? When did it become "fascist" for someone to say ...

Re: Will Comey be prosecuted under the Hatch Act?
It's amazing that Hillary supporters can be so blind to her misdeeds. I am not a Republican [nor Democrat] but I voted for Trump with eyes wide open as to who he is. Regardless, it's nice to have another view besides the usual echo chamber. She wasn't running for sainthood. And, I'm not saying she'...

Re: Neocons
One clear indicator is if you're constantly talking tough towards Russia/Syria and discussing setting up no-fly zones against a nuclear armed country (Russia), in one of the seemingly endless supply of useless Middle East countries (Syria) that we (US) have destabilized in the last 15 years, then y...

I'm still trying to figure out a really good consistent definition of neoconservative. I don't consider Trump to at all be a reliable non-interventionist. I believe the markets agree with me, after seeing how well the military industrial complex firms performed today compared to the rest of the mar...

Re: Neocons
I think the Neo-Cons will end up backing the Globalists. IMO, both political parties are re-aligning, and it's becoming Globalists vs Nationalists. Neo-Cons are open border, pro-foreign entanglement, so they will keep gravitating towards the Dems, which seem to be fixated on open borders (globalism)...

Re: Tallying of early votes
As far as I know, it's only ballots that have been returned and party ID that is tallied, not the actual vote counted. So for instance, hypothetically if 675K registered R's, 700K registered D's and 550K I's have returned early votes, they know the numbers returned, but they don't report who each pe...

36 month performance re-balanced quarterly: 1X PP +14.8% 4.7% CAGR 0.76 Sharpe ratio -6.85% Max DD 3X PP +34.0% 10.2% CAGR 0.63 Sharpe ratio -22.46% Max DD Clearly this wasn't an ideal time for the PP with gold dragging the portfolio down, however it also wasn't a particularly bad time period either...

the elite are not people persons, if WW3 gets them power, money, thins the population, or brings them one step closer to the global government they dream of... they will be all in to make it happen... I used to think this stuff (NWO, Illuminati, Rothschilds, etc, etc) was crazy conspiracy talk, but...

i saw something about the wikileaks emails today that said it positively WASN'T the Russians , they wont say who it was to protect their sources.. Re: What Happens When Millennials Grow Up?
Scary picture, but probably completely accurate. This is the downside of the student loan and skyrocketing college tuition cost bonanza, among other things. So add to this the burden of the rapidly growing, unskilled, non-English speaking underclass and remember that their birthrate is going to far...

Re: What Happens When Millennials Grow Up?
Most of the millennials I know have $400/mo Starbucks habits. They travel A LOT from what I can tell. They don't spend as much as previous generations on clothing, but they certainly love the high rent downtown city life. They value freedom and flexibility in their jobs, but that often comes at a co...
