You'll be waiting a long time for a politician who can stick a pure ideology and isnt a "hypocrite." College was a lot different in the 90s. But I'm not going to defend him, sure he's a scumbag, whatever, bottom line is he fought back against martial law while Trump was playing golf.

still underweight long bonds, but doubled EDV. Its at 4%, Fedfunds 5%. Last time fedfunds was this high was 2007 and there was less debt then. Last hiking cycle we got "covid" so what narrative are we gonna get this time the Fed breaks the market then bails it out? Also like last cycle, th...

Presumably everyone here pays off cards monthly. Lowering your overall available credit should only ding your score a few points. Citi lets you do online soft-pull CLIs every 6 months and in my experience increases each card by ~2k.

Not knowing about index funds till 40. Grandpa said stocks were too risky. All cash 2005-2015. "Luckily" they gave me two mortgages in 2005...despite no income. Started PP in 2016 and bought a slug of 30years at 2.33% just before trump won and rates spiked.

Glanced at the article. "Climate change" is not the only goal. Being less dependent on Russian and Saudi oil is good.

As the poorest person here, hard to feel sorry for someone with that problem =) iBonds are a free lunch, morlike cash than a bond and usually pay better than cash alternatives. Savings glut. Rich 1st world and slow population growth. What is anyone you lend money to (bonds) going to do for a riskless return. Wouldnt be crazy to underweight bonds. That said 30 year's at 4% and at some point will be back to 1%

Siblings arent raised equally, first child gets more parental effort. Occasionally too much and it backfires. Elite education is just busywork and hazing anyway. Go to a bad school and study math at your own pace. Put minimal effort into classes that dont interest you. And some random content https:...
