Sister Sally Sitting by the Seashore

Getting a bit blustery here tonight.

We'll see how it goes. I do so love raw power.

I don't know you, but your public posts of late have come across as a little unhinged. It could just be me.
Sincerely hoping you are doing OK and it is just my misinterpretation.

Best wishes,
Mark

Slow cookers are the bomb. Cabeza, barbacoa, pork shank... oh yeah... What I'm really looking for now is an alcohol torch. Planning ahead to when I can fly again. I think I can slow cook most anything in the hotel hot water and then I just need to torch the surface for the Maillard reaction. My plan...

I bought a George Foreman grill to throw in the back of the car a few weeks ago.

It has greatly improved my dinnertime time when I don't want to put up with any of the local dining restrictions.

Walmart pre-seasoned fajita meat tonight. Nom nom.

Christian Bale is awesome. American Psycho is, of course, his best film, but he's been in a lot of really good ones. I haven't even seen all of them, but other than American Psycho and The Big Short, he's in Rescue Dawn Equilibrium American Hustle Out Of The Furnace Harsh Times The Prestige Howl's ...

Trump deplanes Air Force One in Michigan to CCR's Fortunate Son. What a douche. Daddy's little draft dodging fortunate son... I've made several comments here regarding how out of sync the lyrics are with rock songs chosen to be played at Trump's rallies. They just don't fit the tenor of the campaig...

From reading the above it seems that as I age if I continue to keep my landline phone unplugged and have my cell phone turned off I will then not be susceptible to the above described phone calls. According to the chart, I have a 50% chance of an average of 13% or greater returns next year.

Someday, they should teach math in schools.

Re: Natural Gas Moratorium?

When I was growing up in a nearby suburb in the 60s, we had oil heat. My parents switched to natural gas bc it was cheaper and more convenient. I'm pretty sure virtually everyone around here uses natural gas these days. I had an oil tank at my house in Portland until I sold it in 2013. The original...

There is something about having yourself together that makes it comfortable to talk about how you work and think and plan.

I've been accused of being too honest myself a few times. I prefer it over the alternative.

The more volatile the asset the less you can hold? Possibly so. Nothing wrong with that. But it is messy. Volatility is an academic construct that works until it changes. I have to say that the strip between Perdido Key and Gulf Shores is pretty nice. You could do much worse than Flora Bama.

Except for the jelly fish. The little fuckers swiped my hip and calf while swimming from Florida to Alabama.
