Re: Summer sun protection

I am allergic to most sunscreens and burn relatively easily, so I wear long sleaves and a Tilly hat.  I also use a product (recommended and sold by my dermatologist) formulated with micronized zinc oxide and octinoxate on my nose if I am going to be outside in the sun for more than a half hour or so...

Craig Parton discusses  making the case for the reliability of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John.  The talk is about one hour long and is in mp3 format.  This material would be helpful for believers who want to be able to discuss the reliability of Scripture with non-believing friends or for non-believers w...

Re: Self-Driving Cars

I'm pretty sure Mark was not advocating for any kind of government-run self-driving car netwrok. I think his point is that a network of very close following cars is one that is primed for catastrophic failure, and he would prefer a system that is instead designed to have small failures. I agree wit...

Re: New Study Says Low Carb Diet Better Than Low Fat Diet

I decided to ask you guys whether my picture would look better as an avatar, or in a post.  I've been trying to minimize carbs for 2 or 3 hours; looks like I'm getting rapid results.  What is the verdict?
