Re: Autonomous Enclave in Georgia, USA

Been there... done that.... Leonard Casley (28 August 1925 – 13 February 2019)[13] declared the principality an independent province in 1970 in response to a dispute with the government of Western Australia over what the Casley family considered draconian wheat production quotas.[14] The Casley farm...

Do all dog people know and agree with this? "Please note: Xylitol should not be given to animals—particularly not dogs. There are many human foods that are dangerous for dogs—grapes, chocolate, and raisins, to name a few. Xylitol is another of these foods, and it’s best kept away from animals....

Re: Looking For Integrated Silver Data

Good Morning Smith,

There are no calculators/backtesters I know of with Silver - believe me, I have looked !
I would suggest heading over to belangp's YouTube channel as he has done quite a bit of modelling with Silver

Mad Max everywhere is my perspective. But I haven’t read the referenced books. :o I'm sure you know this, but "Mad Max" is not very realistic; its intent was cinematic drama. The books I recommend represent considerable thought as to what might logically happen in the circumstances they p...

BelangP proves PP is the least volatile

HB was ahead of his time and it's impressive to see his allocation mathematically proven.

Watch the analysis of various ratios of stock/gold/bonds (assume 10 Yr).
The orange curve is the one to look at.

Re: Another angle on the recent events in America and the world

I think this might be somewhat related to this topic. How close or far do you live from any of the unrest of the last several days? Closest to me is Boston - 1.75 hours / 90 miles away. Where I live is quite rural, economically diverse neighborhood, houses with wide ranging values ($100,000 to $500...

First off I would like to thank Smith for starting this interesting topic and the forum members for intelligent discussion. A couple of questions/thoughts.... In the US, did peaceful demonstrations or violent riots ever change anything? I always remember General Haigs quote back in the 80's Could an...

Re: Another angle on the recent events in America and the world

Guns are actually very relevant in defending yourself from terrorists and burglars. Yes but the thinking behind the 2nd amendment was that armed citizens won't be ruled by tyrants. I wish the pro-2A advocates would stress that more, instead of putting so much of their efforts behind the personal pr...

What are your thoughts on putting cash into senior floating rate bonds rather than unsecured bank deposits? I have a confession. Given my recent ticketing fiasco at the hands of the local police, I get a strange sense of satisfaction seeing everyday citizens fighting the police. I'm awful, I know. I wouldn't feel too bad. Way back when I was young the local parking inspector would give children a ride up...

356 pages? I'm glad I have a lot of spare time and that I read fast. There's a notable section on silver in the second half that I was very interested to read. I've been thinking of adding some silver along with platinum and palladium to my VP. Probably would be worthwhile watching this. https://ww...

I might be hopelessly out of date, but is there a reason you don't feed your pets fresh food? Or is it that canned food is much better in the US? We used to feed the dogs fresh chicken/fish/rabbit or fish mixed in with vegetables. Believe it or not, the dogs used to jump up and pick fruit off the tr...

Memorable quote on page 7: Truth hurts. Maybe not as much as jumping on a bicycle with the seat missing, but it hurts.
