Going all in for VTI??
Alright, I expect to get chewed out here for not going all in 4x25 from the outset but I have all allocated except for VTI. If you were in my shoes (and hopefully you are not) now, what would be your strategy for entry into VTI going forward?? Thanks for the responses.

How to answer this question?
I had a discussion last night with a friend of mine about the HB PP 4x25. He does think this portfolio is a good one but his answers to my inquiries were if you have 15 years left to invest before retirement - why would you not increase the equity % and just convert your entire portfolio over to the...

Re: VT instead of VTI?
Actually I think I will create my stock portion as 2/3 VXF and 1/3 VT. This will give me about 5% international exposure.

For those of you who keep part of the CASH portion in your HSA, is that portion in a fund also within the HSA.

Re: Is this appropriate for my CASH holdings?
1/2 VFISX 1/2 BIL Yes this seems fine. I think 100% BIL and "scraps" of VMMXX would be better. IMO, keep it simple stupid (KISS), put practically all cash in T-bills as instructed, and move on. In one of my accounts I have 100% of my cash in VMMXX, which is not ideal, but IMO is just barely accept...

Re: Replacing Cash with VWINX, the results look juicy
Hey Ozzy
How did the Juicy Portfolio do against a traditional HPP last year?
Any way you can run/backtest your portfolio against HPP for as far back as you can?
At least for me this would be a helpful comparison. Thank you

Only PP no VP for this list
I though it would be interesting for only those doing the true PP to post what exactly they hold and how they are holding it. For example the breakdown in % of each of the 4 parts in detail. Thanks for posting.

Hello Ozzy
Wow, surprised to hear you are giving up the VWINX fund. Here is what I have decided to go with for my portfolio:
VWENX
IAU
EDV
VIOO
IVOO
VSS The percentages come out to be about 50% stocks, 35% bonds, 15% gold

Hey Ozzy
Just out of curiosity why didn't you include REITS or TIPS?
I have a modified portfolio similar to yours and will be finalizing it today so will post it later.

Have you ever considered VT for your stock portion instead of VTI and international. It would also give you a little Emerging Market exposure.

Question on rebalancing
Lets say I have the PP 25% IAU/SGOL/GTU, 25%VT, 25% TLT, 25% BIL Let us assume gold reaches 35% band to trigger a rebalance event, I then would sell some of the gold ETF's and purchase whatever is lagging. But now I only would have less than 25% in gold in the PP----ahh nevermind I think I just ans...
