Re: Some 2020 General Election Polls
WI called for Biden, but you all knew that already. Trump’s campaign manager says he’ll request a recount in Wisconsin, though it may be up to two weeks before one can begin. In 2016 a statewide recount increased Trump’s margin by 131 votes. Agreed. It's Trump's right and I honestly don't blame him...

Re: Some 2020 General Election Polls
Well as of right now it looks like Biden is probably going to win by his fingertips. But I have to admit that the Trump supporters who were shaking their heads at most of the polls have been largely proven right. Most of the polls were off, in some cases by margins worse than the 2016 fail. However...

Re: Election Day/Night Open Thread
The whole thing is really so sad. I remember watching Jo Jorgensen (libertarian) being interviewed on Fox a couple hours before the last Trump/Biden debate. They asked her how she felt about not being able to participate in the debate because she didn't have enough votes in the necessary polls. She...

Still looks like no states have reversed..... Vinny Biden has flipped AZ. But otherwise your correct. Re: Some 2020 General Election Polls
Only a very small percentage of the early and mail in votes for WI, MI and PA have been counted. Those tend to break heavily Democratic.

Re: Election Day/Night Open Thread
Now Trump is claiming that the election is being stolen. This is a bold faced lie. The only electoral corruption I am seeing are attempts by Republicans to prevent ballots from being counted. Donald Trump is the most dishonest and profoundly corrupt president in US history. No president has ever bef...

Re: Election Day/Night Open Thread
Some places in Georgia and PA have suspended counting for the night. Atlanta is buried in mail in ballots which need to be counted and those tend to break Democratic. Likewise mail in Ballots are the last to be counted in PA. So I doubt we are going to have a winner declared before sometime tomorrow...

Re: Election Day/Night Open Thread
Ad, any comments on the accuracy of the polls? Trafalgar is looking pretty good right about now. Well they certainly nailed Florida. But Arizona looks like a miss. And GA, NC and OH were all labeled as a coin toss by the more reputable polls. Trump is leading narrowly in all three as I type. The th...

Holy hell....Q Anon promoter Marjorie Taylor Greene is going to have a seat in the house. We truly are a country of idiots. I wish I knew what "crazy" things Q Anon says. They've been taken off the internet, so I have no idea what these "wacky and crazy" ideas they promote are. ...

Re: Election Day/Night Open Thread
A number of states are known based on exit polling and the like, that they are just a given for one side or the other. California is going to be called for Biden the minute polls close.

Re: Election Day/Night Open Thread
So far the map is filling as expected with the exception of Florida. Trump needs Florida badly and it's trending his way with about 90% of the vote in. There are limited opportunities out there for Biden to make up the ground.

Re: Election Day/Night Open Thread
If Biden wins, but is declared mentally incompetent between now and inauguration, does Kamala Harris become president? Or does the senate or house leader choose or something like that? Asking due to multiple instances of slurred speech of incomprehensible words this week and introducing his grandda...

I will probably turn the TV on around 7 or so when the first polls start to close. Need to check the batteries on the clicker. I can't remember the last time I had the TV on.
Edit: It works. Life is good.
