I've got an EU/Global PP, and indeed I feel that gold in the EU PP will behave differently. It's not clear what the alternatives would be, though.

It's an investment besides saving, for now. Although I consider making it my primary savings. It's meant for being able to retire a couple of years earlier than usual.

Yeah, those are very decent returns. With a European PP, these are not feasible. So I'd say very nice indeed.

Sure, it doesn't matter where exactly you keep each component of the PP. In fact, spreading over institutions is a great idea.

Nobody can predict the future. That's why the PP was invented. Just stick to the strategy, it was designed so you don't have to make these decisions.
