Re: Daily "Check In" Thread For Us
I love borscht. I don’t know if that’s a stock photo or hers but it looks better than any borscht I’ve ever had. Just a stock photo. Hers looked pretty similar though! Just without the fancy lighting haha. I thought maybe you’d be introducing her to Hong Kong delights. Are we still talking about fo...

Re: Daily "Check In" Thread For Us
Have you introduced foods to your fiancee that she never had before? Besides XO sauce. It's mostly her introducing me to new foods since I don't cook. :D Thanks to her I tasted borscht for the first time! Yummy and healthy. :) https://www.177milkstreet.com/assets/site/Recipes/_large/Ukrainian-Borsc...

O0 Hilarious! I would break out if I did that. Then again I break out if I have peanut butter rice. Or soda. Or any…food O0 You have a lot of food sensitivities? Does it contain anything that already wasn't included within Moldbug's article that started the whole "Bitcoin as a store of value" argument? I didn't know the name Moldbug until you just mentioned it. Is it this article? https://www.unqualified-reservations.org/2013/04/bitcoin-is-money-b...

It's a good point. If productive companies are winning then that generally means society and people are probably doing well. If cryptocurrencies win in a big way it's probably because there's been some major monetary system upheaval.

Re: BTC in the PP
The interesting thing about this, is that in the long run, it might not matter much how much you have, just as long as you have some. I personally don’t care about the difference between being a billionaire or a trillionaire. This is exactly how I bought. Just threw some tiny cash into it and walke...

I've got some here, but most of them are pretty small. They're from my favourite condiment: XO sauce.

Re: Gold Items On Sale
Not to be confused with the ‘Best Deals Right Now in Gold.’ This is not the best deal. There’s a French 20-franc rooster coin on sale at Apmex. I usually stick with 1 oz bullion for investments, but I’m tempted to have one or a few to add to the collection. Does anyone own a rooster? No, but it def...

Who on the forum has actually had the fortitude to stick with the canonical PP's allocation to long-term bonds? Just curious.

Re: Why Value?
Whatever "style" you choose, whether it be growth, value, momentum, or total market, just make sure you commit to it. The best investment strategy is the one you can stick to. For certain! Mainly due to my own personal inertia mine has not changed since January 2003, 21+ years ago. I'm ve...
