Re: Wealth Transfers
That was a great read ahrunforthehills. Thank you. No, thank you Mark! Only a small handful of posters keep me checking in on this forum from time to time (too many ego-driven posts for me). However, many of your insights/experiences are especially fascinating to me. This is also exactly why the US...

Re: Wealth Transfers
The US's relationship with gold seems pretty straight-forward... There are 2 outcomes for the US (and the world) in regards to fiat currency: 1. The status quo is maintained (the US wins) or 2. The system collapses and the world returns to a partial (or full) gold standard (the US wins). The US has ...

Re: Member requests banning and removal of all traces
Which part strikes you as odd? I would be pretty certain that some % with a very stock heavy portfolio got out on the way down in March and haven't been able to get back in, always waiting for that other shoe to drop which hasn't yet, and have missed out on gains. I have one friend who exactly did ...

I would not be retired and living peacefully off of the PP if I had not encountered this forum 10+ years ago. Say WHAT???? When did that happen?? The "Budd" I knew was terrified of the PP because of the gold and because it didn't perfectly track the stock market. I thought you were going ...

Re: What’s up with Trump lately?
Meh. Defamation lawsuits against the media is a big nothing-burger. Sounds like these companies are just doing it for the PR. Suing someone for defamation and actually winning is extremely hard. I think the odds are like 12%... and that is if you are suing a person. Suing the media would be INSANELY...

https://www.politicalcompass.org/chart?ec=0.13&soc=-2.92 Not really surprising since I think everyone here is either a crazy liberal or conservative nut-job :P I shudder at the idea of being stranded on an island with either. Really, I think I personally see forward movement as inevitable. The ...

Re: Poll: Have You Thought Of Leaving Forum Because Of Politics?
Yes, but not because I am offended by people's views. In fact, I feel the politics section has helped me. The politics sections has pulled back the curtain on many posters. It is easier to understand their thought process, how much data they gather, where/how they gather it, how much bias they use w...

Have any of you read the book "Quiet" by Susan Cain? I think it was in that book that she provided an example about the difference between western cultures (primarily extrovert) and eastern cultures (primarily introvert). How when a foreign exchange student from China came to America was ...

When the affidavit can't even keep Minnesota and Michigan straight what gives you any confidence that anything else in there is correct? You can keep throwing the spaghetti...but at some point the reasonable voices like Christie come out and start calling the whole thing a national embarrassment. A...

Do you dig into any of the stuff you post? Mr. Ramslands affidavit is so professionally researched that the districts included in his case mix up Michigan with Minessota. (Screen shots of listed districts not included) This is why these cases keep getting tossed out left and right. ---- " The ...

I'd probably become a "Wackadoodle" if I had some bimbo running her mouth like that in my ear! Just watching the video reminded me of fingernails scratching on a chalkboard. How would you react to being in an airport and having someone, uninvited, following you around? Considering that he...

Re: Florida 2000
The courts aren’t going to give 2 $hits what Trump’s thoughts were in 2016. Not sure why you think that would matter. Either there was fraud in 2020 or there wasn’t. It’s that simple. Besides, you do realize it isn’t only Trump bringing the lawsuits, right? Trump and his allies...in other words Tru...

1. It is not that far fetched. Jill Stein had enough proof of machines changing votes to review the source code and squash a gag order a couple weeks ago. It took her years of fighting, millions of dollars, and she even had the support of Hillary. I recently saw something that said the machines wer...

I do see Trump hedging his bet though. He has been talking a lot of trash about FOX, so I assume starting his media network is still his backup plan.

Re: Florida 2000
So to better get the point across, I decided to do a little thought experiment. What exactly would it take for me to crack the mail in voting and submit mass fraudulent votes that could alter the election here in AZ. 1) The official serialized ballot mailed to each person at their address of record...

Re: A different take on sleep structure
It's about what is natural for humans. Biphasic sleep, with a first sleep that's deep and a second sleep with a lot of REM/dreaming, with a waking period in between appears to be normal. Sleeping straight through for 8 hours may actually be ABNORMAL - quite the revelation! I remember being just as ...

Re: A different take on sleep structure
I should also mention that because many of these "cold" places were in the Northern Hemisphere, their "nights" could last for 12 hours. In some places, like Norway, the night could be 18 hours. That would certainly make "waking up in the middle of the night" pretty easy...

Re: A different take on sleep structure
Maybe that's why those medieval sources talk about second sleep so much. Those people drank wine and ale all day and were wasted pretty much all the time. Actually no, it's not about booze. It's about what is natural for humans. Biphasic sleep, with a first sleep that's deep and a second sleep with...

Trump might be right?
Was Trump right about his overwhelming support in 2020? Well, we know that polls are inaccurate. Know what isn't inaccurate? Search data trends. If we assume that people that watch Fox will mostly vote Republican, and those that watch CNN will mostly vote democrat... here is what the map looked like...
