I have a modified portfolio similar to yours and will be finalizing it today so will post it later.

Ozzy
Have you ever considered VT for your stock portion instead of VTI and international. It would also give you a little Emerging Market exposure.

Question on rebalancing
Lets say I have the PP 25% IAU/SGOL/GTU, 25%VT, 25% TLT, 25% BIL Let us assume gold reaches 35% band to trigger a rebalance event, I then would sell some of the gold ETF's and purchase whatever is lagging. But now I only would have less than 25% in gold in the PP----ahh nevermind I think I just ans...

Thanks for the response. May I ask, did you buy American Eagle coins? Not to be nosy but what eventual storage solution did you settle on?
Did you ever consider physical gold in an IRA account? Thanks

Help me understand this dilemma?
Ok, I am a PP investor and have heard/read everything I can from Harry Browne et al...... Presently 25% of my PP is in gold ETF's IAU, SGOL, GTU all in a tax deferred IRA (I am not even sure if these ETF's pay me any income in dividends) but it is highly liquid. I own no physical gold bullion/coins...

Re: Where and how do you purchase physical gold?
Thanks for the lead, I read the whole site. Just out of curiosity, does anyone actually put the physical gold into an IRA account through a third party brokerage firm? If not, where do you have it delivered and how do you store it safely?

Libertarian thinking without guns or a bunker, frugal, smart enough to have a PP but too late to the game when trying to fight the FED

Redemption fee of Vanguard LT treasuries?
Hello I read the tutorial for buying bonds or bills or notes on the secondary market from Vanguard and I am a Voyager client. I didn't pull the trigger yet and will call them when they open next week. I was just wondering if someone can answer my question here, first: Q. The Vanguard order form s...
