Re: Reasons why I will not be getting injected for the Wuhan
As for a "medical authority", how would you even know who to believe nowadays? That's true and it's not just a wacky right wing talking point. Fauci is a prominent example. We don't need masks, they aren't effective in this case. Everyone must wear masks. Double masks are a very good idea...

I heard we are going to have to go back to the office soon. I don't know about the rest of you, but I have really gotten to like the freedom of working the forum business from home.

Re: Reasons why I will not be getting injected for the Wuhan
The networks are trying to promote vaccination. Yet, every single episode shows a person getting a needle into their shoulder. Not exactly Marketing 101. There are a lot of people who are simply afraid of shots. So yeah, let’s run footage of needles being buried into shoulders. Morons.

Well this is not a feel good video. Analysis of previously confidential data about where the vax components are showing up in the body, where they shouldn't be showing up. Gah. Boy at this point I'm going to be very hesitant to take any boosters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CA8qMb33Zyo Is this ...

Re: Wikipedia
One of the founders of Wikipedia has now come out saying that the site has such a left wing bias, it is no longer credible. https://twitter.com/unherd/status/1415325372233682945 Are there any other similar sites that still have integrity and are worth consulting for information? I'd be surprised if...

Well, a few of us asked him to stop posting the same objections to the PP over and over and over. Apparently he didn't like that, and left completely. I wouldn't expect that there is any more to it than that.

At this point, who cares what you think? Besides you? I know that might be hard to accept.
OK carry on.

Re: The Afghan Papers
All of the dumbasses who think the mighty American military can win wars have not been paying attention. They can win wars if the battles are set up like WW2 battlegrounds. Which will never happen again. The last of the WW2 style battles happened in WW2. Personally I think the next war will be a cy...

I haven't even read the story, because I feel I don't need to. It's been so obvious that it was Viet Nam all over again.

Re: Electric Vehicles
I'm not anti EV. But, sit and watch how many vehicles get petro fuel in an hour at a busy interstate highway gas station. The typical car fill up takes less than 3 minutes. Now if they were EVs instead, tell me how they do it and how much real estate and grid capacity it takes.

Re: Falling yields
Man, I don't know. I keep running into business people and businesses that are desperate for workers. And big wage increases. I'll spare you the anecdotes, but they are everywhere. My prediction, inflation soon and bigger than you expect. So will that be stagflation? Seems like a plausible scenario....
Re: ESG
Has anyone looked into the implications of ESG for gold? If investment institutions bar themselves from owning gold, I say no big deal. I never have liked the idea of gold as a plaything for hot money. Now, if governments divest gold because of ESG, that could be very interesting, and probably not ...

I’m generally aware that there is an anti statins movement. Can anyone sum up their objections to statins?

I’m pretty sure that in Illinois you can purchase lab tests on your own. I think it would be worthwhile.
Get your PSA tested. I don’t like the annual prostate exam but the cancer is in my family so I see a urologist each year.

Re: I think it’s time to move into crypto

Re: I think it’s time to move into crypto
Part of the bull case for crypto is that it is being regulated and the future of crypto will include things like digital identities and therefore make it easier for users, investors and businesses alike, to be regulatory compliant. There is already paper cash for those looking to use without report...
