Re: A great representative for the "party of inclusion and tolerance"

I know this has been kicked around on the forum in different ways, but anyway .... What do you think fuels the hatred of traditional Constitutionalists, i.e. our traditional way of life in the United States, to the degree described in the opening post? That degree of hatred towards ones fellow man ...

Re: Government Successes?

Another HB quote: War is the biggest government program. Somehow, though, when conservatives / Republicans are repeating their "smaller government" mantra the military seems to be exempt from this. Same with the government seems to never be able to do anything right or ever accomplish anything good...

Re: Coronavirus General Discussion

Re: Has it ever changed your life?

I just think that 30 years ago, most people didn't care too much about politics. I did, and probably many of you did. But my typical bowling league buddies, not as much as today. Everyone had opinions, but it wasn't such a big deal. Everyone today is really into it. Government is not supposed to mea...

SomethingGate

I don't know what nickname it's going to get. The American People v. Hillary, Brennan, Comey, OBiden-Bama, Mueller, et al. Does thing have traction, or not? It seems like there's there there. To me it's a huge scandal. Really like nothing that has ever happened before that I can recall. Come on. Hil...

Re: Trump has Covid-19

Short answer, yes. Long answer, it's too much work. Maybe someone here will do it for us.
I do recall that #wrongtrump was big on twitter when his brother died. And WaPo had some disrespectful although factual headline.

Re: Has it ever changed your life?

Yes, it's almost as this election is the Red Sox versus the Yankees or Georgia versus Florida, something as visceral (and important) as those!
The Alabama rooter who poisoned the prized trees at Auburn was ahead of his time.

Re: Trump has Covid-19

Heck, that article almost isn't satire!
The left did mock the deaths of Robert Trump and Herman Cain.
But when an ISIS leader was killed, the Washington Post described him as an austere religious scholar.

TDS knows no bounds.
