That is all.
Is that a Canadian thing to put fries on the Gyro? I've never once seen that in Chicago. On a hot dog, yes occasionally, but never on a gyro.

Re: Daily "Check In" Thread For Us

My latest crop of books have all arrived. The typeface of the paperback version of A Random Walk Down Wall Street is crooked. Especially all the pages on the left side when the book is open. :-\ I have a paperback version of the 10th edition that I bought way back when, so I decided to take a look ...

Re: Is Trump doing a good job?

I received this gem from an acquaintance the other day... I’ve known him for a long time and he’s always been a little bit.... anyway, this comment really takes the cake. E0C1A701-9DE7-46D6-B3F4-8ECB7129A127.jpeg Do people in Canada care about the US elections? I mean, I don't know anyone here who ...

Re: Some 2020 General Election Polls

Trump has 91% chance of being reelected according to model that has correctly for 25 of the 27 elections since 1912, when primaries were introduced.

In this morning's news, Washington's governor Inslee has declared that schools will reopen in stages, in a manner sensitive to social inequities. White children will be the last to go back. I'm kidding you not.
Once again, how is this legal?

Re: Texts vs. Emails vs. Phone Calls

I've sometimes wondered, if an online discussion forum were to limit each member to a maximum of one or two posts per day, would the average quality of discussion on that forum increase noticeably? I suspect it would. That's an interesting idea and one that would potentially could be experimented w...

Re: Texts vs. Emails vs. Phone Calls

I agree with you, but we are in the minority.

The splitting of messages is a phenomenon of different carriers having limits on characters and is extremely annoying. Almost as bad as the new Apple feature of 'liking' a text which quotes an entire message if you have Android.

Meanwhile, in Melbourne, Australia :o <snip> Outsourcing quarantine to poorly trained, ill-equipped private security firms caused the failures, which included: Security companies being paid for workers that didn’t exist. Re: Daily "Check In" Thread For Us

I wonder if the price scales with length. Or maybe it’s circumference. After more than three years of membership on this forum I still can’t shake the regret of not naming myself either “Small Tex” or “Large Tex”. Size doesn't matter dontcha know. O0 You do seem rather obsessed with this issue.....

Re: Coronavirus General Discussion

Just got back from Florida, with parts of Fla and Tx requiring masks now. This is why I seem to be getting hypoxia while wearing a mask. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5QuHoMp2D8 That was a great video. I play pickleball with a bunch of 65-80 year olds. Some of these idiots are wearing masks outs...
