Re: Any "Breaking Bad" Fans Here?
I am not sure how season 5 can be better than the season 4. Just can't imagine it. My favorite episodes were 7-13 in season 4. Of course the final episode was epic. My other highlight in season 4 was "Problem Dog". Just loved Jesse's acting. (I'm being careful not to give anything away f...

Re: Any "Breaking Bad" Fans Here?
I am not sure the season finale last night (season 4) could have been any better. In fact, it's hard to imagine being able to top the craftsmanship in this episode. The acting, the writing, the directing. We expected a lot and the Breaking Bad team delivered. Wow. I expected to feel disappointe...

Re: Any "Breaking Bad" Fans Here?
We are within 24 hours of the finale of Breaking Bad for Season 4. That is incredibly exciting and a bummer at the same time. I never thought I could get this into a television show. For those who find the show depressing in Season 1, stick with it. The show becomes less depressing as the story ...

Re: Any "Breaking Bad" Fans Here?
I've finished season three and just spent $32 or so to get season 4 streaming through Amazon. Awesome show. Tex, Season 4 is amazing. Really kicks in when you get to episode number 6--every one from that point forward is riveting. I am envious that you get to watch them back to back--best way to ...

Re: Any "Breaking Bad" Fans Here?
MT, have you started watching Breaking Bad yet? My brother told me about this show earlier this summer. It might be the most entertaining TV series I've ever seen. There were nights where my wife and I would watch 3 or 4 episodes in a row. We are hooked on the show like blue meth. We are now f...

Re: Gold ETF diversification strategy?
Technically, I qualify as a high net worth investor, and I hold some physical gold (coins). This constitutes 45% of my gold holdings. People who are far, far wealthier hold physical gold. I also diversify among gold ETFs, holding, IAU, GTU and PHYS. Why? It just feels right. I don't think it's so d...

Re: Gold ETF diversification strategy?
Why can't you hold physicial gold? (Not asking to try to pressure you to buy physical gold, but just trying to figure out what your limitations are, so that I can make a relevant rec.). The main reason that I can't hold physical gold is that I have a high net worth. It seems impractical, difficul...

Re: Gold ETF diversification strategy?
HSBC is the primary custodian of GLD. They also have one of the largest short positions on gold on the COMEX. If the price of gold ran away to the upside, and the COMEX longs forced the shorts to deliver, what do you think would happen? Would HSBC happily go bankrupt, or would they find some way...

Gold ETF diversification strategy?
I currently hold GLD for the gold portion of my PP. While I know that physical gold is the best option, it is impractical for me. So it seems that ETFs are my best option. If that is the case, does anyone have any strategies for ETF diversification? Do the other gold ETFs have the same risks as G...
