Re: My Democtratic candidate grades!
Biden is imploding on his own. There's no way he can beat Trump from what I'm seeing.

Re: Epstein
You're right, Tyler-- Much of that dark underbelly has been right out there in plain view. However, what remains largely in the dark is how a ring of pedophiles could effectively come to own and control everything that matters, including Congress, a majority of federal judges, and the heads of virt...

Re: Scrap the Rigged Elections and Let the Market Decide
My only beef with that article is that the bookies had it totally wrong on Trump v Hillary in 2016. And my gut says the current odds of re-election are far too low. It will be interesting to see how 2020 unfolds when there is an actual Dem nominee to run against. Trump is at his best (like most poli...

Re: PP Inspired Leveraged Portfolios
On May 6th, the CME will be launching Micro E-mini futures contracts for S&P, Dow, Nasdaq and Russell 2000.
I think these will make holding a futures based PP (any type of portfolio really) much easier. They will be 1/10th the size of their standard Emini contracts.

CME to launch Micro E-mini equity futures. This makes a futures based portfolio easier to swing due to matching notional values of contracts. https://activetrader.cmegroup.com/microemini/?utm_source=pardot&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2019_micro_emini&utm_content=20190311_retail_prelaun...

Re: Trump as tragicomedy
So are the Koch's part of "the left?" Further, I don't think they hate him. Trump was actually right when he said that he gave them huge tax cuts and regulatory decreases. If they lose a bit on trade-wars they'll still be net-beneficiaries of the Trump presidency methinks. No, the Kochs a...

McCain was a complex guy and like most humans who have lived he had his high points and low points. I think with any human life we should celebrate a person's good while not necessarily giving them a pass on the bad. High points - Courage, honor and grit as a POW - Bipartisanship...standing up for ...

Re: Trump as tragicomedy
A new NAFTA deal with Mexico will be announced this week. That's very exciting.
Renegotiated and more favorable to the US. It's weird to me how easy that was to do, and I wonder why our previous Presidents didn't even try?

Another one I'm sort of dumbfounded by is the almost complete silence of national debt hawks and inflation hawks. You hardly ever hear about that stuff anymore. This issue is DOA for the time being. Who knows how the experiment ends, but there is going to be no serious budget reform for the foresee...

Re: Trump as tragicomedy
Can you lay out for me how exactly you see the "deep state" as being a phenomenon that started under Bush I? To me, it's been firmly entrenched at the very least since the post-WWII period, if-not earlier. Yes I would agree, which is why I said "probably has much longer than that, ba...

Re: Trump as tragicomedy
Well, Putin is not only a strong leader (the Russian people LOVE strong leaders), but he's the epitome of a strong, NATIONALISTIC leader. And, more to the point, he's the only significant force pushing back against the western corporate oligarchy as it marches forward in its quest for western hegem...

Re: is the retail bubble bursting?
The REIT's and commercial real estate investors I work with have been getting out of retail for the last 12-18 months. The writing is on the wall and outside of some companies that swoop in and get some steals for pennies on the dollar (likely from banks at that point), there won't be a lot of appet...

Wow, I don't even know what to say. The FBI has sunk to a new low. Zero credibility. They planted a spy in the Trump campaign. Re: Trump as tragicomedy
And yet the talk of impeachment continues unabated. The nation's so-called elite just can't get over the fact that somebody like Trump won the election. Frankly, I can't believe it either. It seems utterly surreal. And I'm one to believe he's not a monster, just another run-of-the-mill egomaniac, a...

Re: Trump as tragicomedy
Good point ... the list of candidates was spectacularly horrible. I knew when I found myself rooting for Ted Cruz, something was terribly wrong. What a shit show. We had a Bush, a Clinton, a Trump and a McAfee, all in one rotten campaign cycle. I hope to never hear any of those names again, in the ...
