One of the issues that several of us have had is the explosion of "microthreads" that make the forum much harder to navigate. Two people in particular have been driving this. May I respectfully suggest that thoughts that fall under the heading of an existing thread be posted on that thread instead ...

i don't think banning is a option that would be in keeping with the forums ethos, splitting threads were things get off topic makes sense, i would encourage news article posters to consolidate if they are planning to post news links, having them all in one place would clean things up a bit.. back fi...

that is definitely old school looking, the ones in ca are a black plastic box with electronics/displays that seem to scan and count as it gets pulled in. i don't think it is connected to anything so i guess they take the box + any tubs of ballots in and down load the count.. with the paper ballot as...

where i live in ca its a paper ballot but you stuff it into a machine, i assume the vote is counted as it is fed in, with a paper copy in the sealed bin as backup..

based on work related visor experience, did it come with a protective sheet? the visors i buy are blue tinted in the box but the blue part is a tear-off... :-[

i think the number of kids is more correlated with child mortality than poverty (poverty and child mortality are also often correlated) so poor places with low child mortality have less kids, higher mortality have more... just a theory for consideration.. the sexual revolution and the state taking o...
