I'm not positive, but it looks like Apmex might be quoting the Comex GC contract prices instead of the spot price.

Dollar index down, Gold up. Fed's Waller says he thinks rate policy is in a good place - no hikes or cuts on the horizon (unless data changes). Without a threat of more hikes from the Fed, gold looks likely to move up from here. $.02
