Re: Are We Living Under Communism?
Has it already happened? It seems that our elections are stolen, the media is Pravda, and the DOJ/FBI/CIA/NSA are all politicized. Is all lost? We still have firearms but that's about it. Notice you will almost never hear a politician refer to the country as a Republic? It's always a "democrac...

Re: Reasons why I will not be getting injected for the Wuhan
If you go to liberal news sites like CNN and MSNBC you get all kinds of stories about unvaccinated people dying of COVID, especially if they were anti-vaxxers. If you go to conservative sites like Breitbart or Revolver you get all kinds of stories about people dying after taking the vaccine plus fu...

I was thinking about your troubles with the masking rules at your kid's school, jalanlong. I'm thinking that the answer to all of this is to end the monopoly of government-run schools. All schools should be private. The state government can set some dollar amount that is attached to the kid to be s...

I've not suffered anything to be majorly pissed off about but if I was a business owner and the government declared my business to be non-essential and shut me down I'd be mightily pissed off. If I was a landlord and couldn't collect rent from my tenants I'd also be mightily pissed off. And if I li...

Those, with eyes to see, are learning that it's a much bigger deal for those who decided to play Fauci roulette. All you have to do is look at the weasel to see he's lying. It's a safe bet that the opposite of everything he says is likely to be true. Covid would be gone from our lives in a few week...

Inflation is at a healthy number a small bit above 2% which is a good thing because it was unhealthily below 2% for many years so this averages it out to the 2% goal. The problem is everything I buy is going up way more than inflation. Rent is up 20%. Food is up 15%. Gas is up 15%. Health insurance...

Jesus Christ himself could come down from heaven and say you need to wear masks and there would be right wing evangelicals who'd probably say screw you. It's incredible how backwards you have it. Covid worship is the religion of the left. Vaccines are the sacrament and masks are the religious garb....

Yeah PG. I mean so what? I'm sure it will stop there. Honestly can we pay you mask lovers to...

US death rates are plummeting. The pandemic is ending. I have to think that this third surge that's ending is the last one: what with the vaccine and pretty much everybody doing pretty much normal things, seems like we must be onto the endemic background infection rate from here. Right? Unless you ...

This from Dr Zelenko's website. He's an anti-vaxxer but still sees the great danger from Covid. According to him, anyone contracting Covid over the age of 45 has a 5-10% mortality rate! "High Risk Patients: Patients are considered high risk if they are over the age of 45, or if they are younge...

If charitable contributions were not just deductible but instead dollar for dollar credits......the only people in poverty in the US would be their by choice. Welfare could be eliminated overnight along with 90% of the redistribution schemes.

I haven't seen anything this good in a year. 6% over spot on 1oz rounds. 12% is what passes for a good deal nowadays. And the silver to gold ratio is about 78 to 1 right now indicating silver is cheap relatively speaking. I just bought 200oz https://www.jmbullion.com/1-oz-jm-bullion-10th-anniversar...

SD, There’s been a lot of research on growth versus value. I think it is accurate to say, that there is serious debate as to whether or not value investing is actually even a thing. Another line of research quite strongly suggests, that if value is a thing, Implementation in most mutual funds and E...

And 50,000 fraudulent ballots out of over 3 million cast (assuming they are all fraudulent) is 1.5%, which is hardly systemic fraud. What do you mean Sophie? Value vs growth
S&P growth and value funds tracked very closely until a few years ago when growth started going parabolic.
VUG has a PE of 40 and div of 0.5% VTV has a PE of 17ish and div of 2.1%
Anyone swapping their stocks for straight value funds right now?
