Re: BTC in the PP

I'm all in on BTC at $10,000. If the general stock market takes a nosedive in 2025-2026, BTC will go down by multiples of that. $100,000 > $10,000... typical BTC behavior. Its seems to be an amplifier for human emotions... it reveals the worst possible investor behavior. Performance chasing, recenc...

Well, socialism is just a broader spectrum. Looks like you are correct. However, it seems more specific to describe them as communists. Vinny Communism and socialism are related but distinct ideologies. While both aim to reduce economic inequality and promote public control of the means of producti...

Using this yearly calculator here:

I get $3,292.

We should note that people are not born this way. The socialist horrors the Chinese have endured have destroyed tradition, family, and spirit. This was an aim of the socialists, and they succeeded. Absolutely. So you are concurring that is it socialism in China and not communism? If so, that leaves...

I've been listening now for at least 15 minutes of non-stop Trump "wisdom".

I'm convinced with for how much I have C-Span on that I've been exposed to more of his words than 98% of his supporters.

ALWAYS entertaining but scary that I'm not listening to a TV show but to real life!

Of course, the 3,000 is just an absolute, nominal number. I'm sure someone in two seconds can provide us an inflation adjusted chart of gold prices which will show 3,000 being far below its all-time highs?

… When others know where 'your' money is - and have control capacity, that's no longer your money its just a loan, open to being partially/fully confiscated at any time - such as via unavoidable punitive taxation (which takes many forms such as via currency debasement). Here's the most disturbing thing about a President trying to command and control the economy. With every EO, every angry press conference, even Truth Social post, it gets more and more Soviet style. Let's say the President thinks oil is too high. It's $67 now, but let's say his polling indicate it ...

Businesses do a good job charging consumers as much as they can pay. If Chinese EVs have a profit margin of 20% and US auto 10%, a 10% tariff on China might be a way to generate revenue. If China wants to give you EVs at nearly cost. . .take them. Exceptions for national security and food. Global M...

I've just started participating in these surveys asked via text where I get paid $0.10 per question answered. Goes to my PayPal account. I'd get double the amount if I installed the app on my phone and answered via it. But my phone is reserved for only what I cannot do anywhere else.
