Going to look into this Masterworks thing. I've always been curious about investing in art, but I've also always wondered how much of the spectacular returns you always hear about were just money laundering. How much does that skew the return statistics?

The relatively high ER irked me at first, but then I realized that the dynamic asset allocation and leverage of this fund was something I couldn't realistically implement on my own. So I'm okay with paying the 85 bps.

They are keeping bitcoin that was captured via law enforcement activities but they are also intending to acquire more. It just has to be in a budget neutral way in order to sidestep congressional approval.
