Re: Study calls for US taxation of cryptocurrency
yup....gov deficits are reaching their threshold it seems. Historically US was able to export its inflation throughout the globe....but the world woke up and realized they were selling their 1st principles assets (food, energy (O&G), and labor/goods for a currency that has no cost to create. (US...

Re: Bitcoin First
If governments could ban/ control Bitcoin then it wouldn’t be a tool for freedom. (FYI, they know this ….prepare accordingly). Remember…..the world economy (governments) now compete for peoples wealth. Wealth is liquidious (with BTC) and will flow to the path of least resistance…countries will compe...

Re: Are We Living Under Communism?
This hit home hard…..the part of identifying with the perpetrators. No doubt fellow vax’d acquaintances I have would rat out non-vax’d peeps much like many Germans turned on Jewish neighbors. I point out the similarities and they still believe the non-vax’d are the plague against humanity…..and this...

Nope…..escape velocity is too great at this point. (There will be more battles….but Bitcoin has already won). You just don’t realize it yet. (Spoiler alert - this isn’t a recent win this happened nearly 5 years ago……it takes time for the main populace to realize this and feel comfortable conforming)...

Re: China Bans Cryptocurrency Transactions
not sure why this is all being rehashed....its simple 1. Value lives within peoples imagination. You only accept USD because MOST other people will accept it as having value. (another way of saying this.....Governments (a collective group of people) force you to pay taxes in said currency / money an...

Re: ways to profit from bitcoin crash
Bitcoin is a VOTE for sovereignty….and instead of actually voting for it…..you vote for against it? Quit thinking of BTC as an investment….it is literally a movement to opt into a free money economy and disempower the man……man. ….keep showing up every 4 years checking a box and think you’re making a...

Re: BTC in the PP
Maybe I was vague originally…..yes “time value of money” is a human preference weighted in time / opportunity cost. What I should have stated is that the “rule” of a dollar today is worth more than a dollar tomorrow is a symptom of a fiat economy. (Not a law of nature / applicable to all forms of mo...

Re: BTC in the PP
Time value of money is a fiat concept. It does not exist as a law of nature….only in a fiat economy. In all honesty I’m not against the fiat economy….to me, hold debt in fiat and wealth in BTC. It’s the perfect recipe! Time value of money is a human fact and has nothing to do with fiat, its directl...

Agree…..the statement “If voting made a difference it would be illegal” is manifesting truer and truer. Should be socially acceptable to not comprise your integrity and pick the lesser of two evils.

Re: BTC in the PP
“...There is no safe store of value. If there were, the government would have to make its holding illegal, as was done in the case of gold.” -Greenspan (1966) This is what Bitcoin aims to do.
