Re: Small Cap Value vs US Total Stock Market
Buffett can tour a factory and get insider info. He defines value as great companies that are underpriced. Guru quants eg Asness & Arnott define value as bad/underperforming based on a few metrics like price to book. We are competing with millions of investors poring over public data online, daily. ...

"Palm oil, palm kernel oil, and coconut oil — the so-called tropical oils — got a bad reputation because they're high in saturated fat, which has long been linked to heart disease. Saturated fat boosts "bad" LDL cholesterol and triglycerides, both of which are risk factors for heart disease. Palm oi...

Most peanut butter has palm oil in it which some dont trust. Check the label for just peanuts and salt as ingredients. Leave it upside down overnight, then stir and store in fridge

https://www.morningstar.com/etfs/arcx/edv/chart LTTs are for when stocks crash. Yes, the purchasing power of cash and gold might go up too. LTTs might need a caveat since the PP was invented. You should be prepared to rebalance when rates fall dramatically and might not want to hold them at all when...

yeah, experimental cancer treatment or something.
And if you can borrow more than you need, when the Fed starts buying mortgages again, thats more inflation protection.

Only thing I'm 100% sure of is Vinny. Housing affordability is record low. But why should low skill labor get increased real wages. Automation and immigration is increasing. Wage gap narrowing might be explained by less productive (overpaid) degreed folk getting demoted by work from home. Comment se...

Economy is "booming" because government boot is off its neck. And low-skill real wages got cut by whatever amount they increased the money supply minus the mandated increases in min wage.

In theory rebalance daily. If you want more growth rebalance less often as stocks will likely do better long term. When long bonds get down to 1% its another conversation.
