Re: Vanguard adds non-diversification warning to Total Stock Market

Any big bag of stocks is good enough, but cap weight is equal weight. eg you own 1% of Microsoft and 1% of Joe's vegan hot dog stand. You're claiming to be smarter than the market if you want $100k worth, or 50% of Joe's stand.

Will be dumping LTTs when Fed starts buying long again. If they dont I'm screwed. That why I keep asking why some countries have 20% inflation with 20% rates instead of 2% and 2%

Bitcoin doesnt seem that different than a gold ETF.

In Nigeria they are still using Megacorp controlled apps. Maybe pumping bitcoin is good for US hegemony if it gets people into the apps

They havent been, but non-nerds do not operate outside the matrix. The bitcoin ETFs make that worse, paradoxically. As has been the case for years the only person I know IRL who needs bitcoin uses it for drugs. When my plumber offers a bitcoin option that'll be a shift. If they pull another pandemic...

Whats gov gonna do. Cut spending, raise taxes, or inflate. No free lunch for them if CPI=money supply. Thats whats egregious about the ibond rate. Capped at 10k and they still give you nothing.

Some of this will be case by case. If grocery store profit margins are 2% and liquor store margins are 15%, ur not going want a blanket 3% tax

Also many folks dont want the tax code simplified because they've figured out the loopholes

The banks must buy unsold treasuries. Yield curve control. Whats worrying is if the Fed wants the 30 year at 2%, but they bypass the market aka us here trying to sell. eg Chase buys new treasuries at 2% then the Fed buys them from Chase. I dunno the mechanisms but in 2020 the Fed set up more "s...

Maybe Goldman and Morgan are trading it back and forth like mortgages in 08. When it pops, fed bailout. Blame Trump.

Why is ETH up twice as much as BTC over the last 5 years, priced in gold.
