Re: Misc. U.S. Elections
The banks must buy unsold treasuries. Yield curve control. Whats worrying is if the Fed wants the 30 year at 2%, but they bypass the market aka us here trying to sell. eg Chase buys new treasuries at 2% then the Fed buys them from Chase. I dunno the mechanisms but in 2020 the Fed set up more "s...

Maybe Goldman and Morgan are trading it back and forth like mortgages in 08. When it pops, fed bailout. Blame Trump.
Why is ETH up twice as much as BTC over the last 5 years, priced in gold.

Re: I'm Officially A Bitcoin Maximalist
Lots of Adderall for that test? srs q. wait a week :) US is stronger than ever as of yesterday and best case for crypto would be collapse/civil war where people need to trade crypto between states. Bitcoin and gold should do well tho because Gov is going to pay for everything with inflation and most...

Re: The Very Real Scenario Where Trump Loses and Takes Power Anyway
" Could it happen again?" Could what happen again. Trump plays golf while states use martial law to wipe out small business and close schools and gyms? Walmart stays open with reduced hours so everyone has to pack in? CDC today recommends a jab every 6 months so we're at about 8 total. ngl...

Re: Study calls for US taxation of cryptocurrency
Ah, jargon. Where would law and econ be without it. I think they're saying crypto (alternative currencies) limits the ability to inflate. Gov has a solid grip on the offramps at the moment so political unrest is still the limitation. I dunno whats happening outside the US. Are people using bitcoin f...

1.2% predicted vs 1.3 on the fixed, gonna roll the dice and hope for a higher rate cuz this is chump change
Rate should be double to reward small investors. But the Social Contract has been getting torn up so I might dump some iBonds and play the leveraged ETF game

You cant print more NYC land tho. Bitcoin is scarce but you can create new tokens to trade. When gold got scarce (too expensive to borrow from some tycoon) people went to silver etc. That said I am feeling the FOMO and trying to figure out how everyone might need bitcoin
