Re: REITs

But I'm leaning towards this: 20% Total Stock Market 20% Small Cap Value 20% Long Term Treasuries 20% Gold 10% REITs 10% Short Term Treasuries If I were to B&H, I would probably do something similar. I might be more likely to make a small modification only because I tend to favor equities: 20% Tota...

Ray Dalio inspires a risk parity ETF

Seems like this could complement the PP in a VP. A lot of Risk Parity fans out there. Re: REITs

I bought most of my REITs at the beginning of the year, but am 150% REITs at the moment (using DRN to get additional leverage). Currently only buying with new contributions. My buying is completely driven by my model approach though: https://www.gyroscopicinvesting.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=9404

Re: PP Inspired Momentum - A Comprehensive Approach

Thanks, IG, for sharing your strategy and continuous updates. If one were to start following it, when would be adequate time to enter? At the beginning or end of a month? At the next shift or another event? If it were me, I would probably DCA into it unless the signal changes. Maybe something like ...

Re: color of links in posts

I think there must be a different stylesheet for the mobile version. On desktop, I'm seeing the new colors. On my phone, like Pug, nothing has changed. Will look into it. I just checked and it worked on my mobile after I reset the site settings. I did this on Chrome for Android by clicking the padl...

Nothing has changed for me. Still looks exactly the same in old threads and a new test post as well.

You probably have to do a force refesh of the page by hitting Ctrl - F5 (windows) or cmd - R (apple).

The Startpage.com website says they've been profitable since 2004. How are they making money?
They still display ads, the ads are not based on your browsing history but based on your current search terms.

Re: Rethinking the Permanent Portfolio

In other words, at duckduckgo, search !google “The Worthy Idea Behind Facebook’s Libra” Doing this completely bypasses any privacy of DDG. Because your search is actually taking place on that other site, you are subject to that site’s policies, including its data collection practices. You might as ...

Re: Anonymous SJW Chatbots

I’ll let insurance guy answer for startpage. For google via duckduckgo, I assume that the results are tweaked by google. It’s logical. Now that I know about these SJW shenanigans, I may occasionally try a pure duck 2 go search afterwards. Both DuckDuckGo and StartPage keep you out of the “Filter Bu...

You can use duck to search google without having your search results remembered- slightly off topic, but the main point is that I need google’s results. Not bing, not yahoo...
Startpage.com uses google's results but they are anonomized.
