Here ya go: http://web.archive.org/web/20160402162234/http://crawlingroad.com/finance/harrybrowne/radio/ I came to post this link, having recently found it in a Bogleheads thread. Note: If you want to download them all at once look for this file: "HarryBrowneInvestmentShowArchive.zip", in...

Yeah. I'm sorry to hear that. Apparently sometimes faulty wallets get issued (even up to last year on some providers). Anyway, just wanted to let you know you might be able to recover (since I didn't know myself when you posted about it) and wasn't sure you did! ;) There are some knowledgeable folks...

Re: Marc De Messel Portfolio
What I do have from the printout is a 12-word mnemonic that's supposed to help me recover my password. Only it's three words short. Easy come, easy go. If you're missing one word, that would be very doable to recover as they come out of a standardized dictionary with 2000 something words. If you're...

I think it’s just one D, isn’t it? de Mesel. You're right. Shame on me. Can't edit the post anymore. What do you mean your password doesn't work and what type of wallet do you have? @Stuper 1: To those who got free bitcoin, my advise would be to hold for another 4 years. One 'respected' crypto news...

If you guys remember Marc. He used to have a PP blog for the Dutch folks. He has removed it since regretfully (for reasons I'm not aware of). I'm pretty sure he was Belgian, not Dutch. Not that it matters. Except maybe to him. ??? Sorry for any confusion caused. I should have picked a more suitable...

If you guys remember Marc. He used to have a PP blog for the Dutch folks. He has removed it since regretfully (for reasons I'm not aware of). I was surprised when someone pointed me to his Youtube channel. He seems to be involved in Crypto now (as he was back in the day). Not sure if he did a 11k bi...

Could you (general you) please tell me how I can edit a post? Can't figure out how to edit a post I made. TIA.
Edit: Okay... seems like you can only edit a post for a certain number of hours? That's a little irritating in my opinion. Oh well....

Re: IMPORTANT: PP FORUM GOING AWAY
I wouldn't mind kicking in a few dollars to keep the forums going, in it's current form. It would be a sad day, if all momentum from the past years that went into building this community went to waste. In my humble opinion a community like this needs to exists, where would everyone go to b*tch about...

Re: Slowly bleeding
I have said in other threads that if the U.S. bonds get under 1% I'm selling them due to horrible risk profile. Craig, could you please talk a bit more about the risk profile of long bonds when they go under 1%? Also, it's not entirely clear to me, why the long bonds would provide little insurance ...

Re: Why should PP continue going up?
And agreed that negative rates on long instruments like the 50-year Swiss bond can't be good. I just don't know where the breaking point is, and until we reach that point, bonds seem to still be capable of positive returns. Lang posted in the one-day Swiss currency crisis thread that his bonds are ...

Thanks indeed for the update, always interesting to see how the PP is doing in other parts of the world.Lang wrote: - The longest Swiss government bond (maturity in 2064) is up 30.6%.
Could you tell me what the coupon rate is on the Swiss LTT? (I'm guessing its a bond from 2014?)

Re: Jim Cramer doesn’t beat the market
Yeah, that was what I started out with but after about a year I changed it to VTI & VEU. I think at the time the overall expense ratio went down very slightly. But I really liked the idea of letting whichever was doing better, i.e. domestic or foreign stocks, just run without the frequent rebal...

Re: Golden Butterfly Portfolio
I don't think equalizing your size, value and growth exposure with the GB concept is an increased bet on Prosperity. It's just distributing the Prosperity risk less concentrated into Mega Caps. It's all a matter of degree. Tyler's version is less precise than mine. Agreed. My view on this also. ...
