Re: PRPFX has lost 8 billion in assets
My question was why has the fund PRPFX lost almost 9 Billion in assets. This has nothing to do with recent cap. gain payout. Why has the fund have so many people cashing out.

The fund paid a dividend of $.72. $.42 ordinary income and $.30 in capital gain. Your account will show dividend in a day or two,or if you request, they will mail you a check. Relax and enjoy the ride.

Re: New PPer needs advice
Why not put 25% in TLT and 25% in SHY. If you have enough in Vanguard the ETF costs are about $2 each trade. You are done.

Re: Getting back in
The quickest way is to invest in PRPFX. They do everything for you. Next easist way is open account at Vanguard and put 25% in each ETF VTI-stocks TLT-LT/bonds IAU-GOLD, and SHY-cash. Done.

Re: interested in PP portfolio - some unresolved questions
I am also new to the PP. Look at IAU for the gold portion. The expense ratio is lower. Also check out PRPFX which is a mutul fund, also invested in the PP. I have both so good luck with either or both. Arnold
