Re: How should contributions/withdrawals be treated for rebalancing?

How often will you be adding a large percentage of cash to the PP? I recently went through this process as I sold all of my stocks and moved into the PP.  For various reasons, there are some investments that took longer to sell so basically I just set out with the goal that I wanted to have a roughl...

Re: HB on VP

Having read a lot on Harry Browne and having finally setup the PP, I've noticed that I've become far more willing to spend money now to advance my career and setup a business.  Prior to the PP, I was much less willing to spend money in order to make money.  I think this comes from me reducing the ri...

Re: Establish a Budget for Pleasure

I probably did a pretty bad job of explaining the concept. I think it's more clever than odd. My Canadian PP

I'm finally setting up the PP for real this time.  It's been on my mind for over a year and because of my situation, I hesitated as to what is the best way to set it up.  (I'm Canadian married to a Japanese and currently living in Japan.  My income generally tends to be USD and we don't know where w...

Re: Newbie Questions

Congratulations!  You officially have the most complicated financial situation I've ever seen!  And I thought trying to get a PP to work out cleanly across a 401K, Roth 401K, Rollover IRA, and Roth IRA was a mess... Haha, well I don't think it's *that* complicated but yeah, it's more to think about...

Newbie Questions

I recently came across PP and read through Harry Browne's Fail Safe Investing and the new PP book.  I have some questions related to my personal situation and some things that I didn't see addressed in the book (or maybe I missed). - I am a Canadian currently living in Japan married to a Japanese wo...
