Re: Here's a fun AI response!
<snip> Back to the subject of your AI discussion. Are the SA accounts mandatory? I assume so. Yes, Superannuation contributions are mandatory down here. However, it does raise an interesting point. Harry Browne suggested making use of retirement accounts like this, (called IRA's in USA?). Honestly,...

Re: Here's a fun AI response!
More to the point, I share your amazement at the AI response. I wonder what would happen if its overlords became aware of that.

So you have to vote? Wow. Soviets are smiling at that. What happens if you displayed this bumper sticker? Will you be arrested or fined?

Re: U.S. And Israel bomb Iran?
I saw a little bit of Trump’s news conference today. It’s a beautiful war, and it’s ahead of schedule. We are doing this to help everyone, including China. We have the best military in the world. It’s amazing. Iran doesn’t have much of anything left. https://assets2.cbsnewsstatic.com/hub/i/r/2010/11...

Thank you! Any libertarians here? 8) Me. See my bookshelf photo in my avatar. I see it as something to aspire to and measure against, but I realize it isn’t always practical. Similar to eating a perfect diet for example. Who do you follow ? Hug 🤗 Tom Woods, although he spends a lot of time promotin...

Re: U.S. And Israel bomb Iran?
I find it sickly, ironically humorous that the Iranian traffic/spy camera network was hijacked by the Israelis, and they used it to find and kill the Ayatollah.

Re: Gold Top
A year ago I read the case for Trump doing some kind of monetary reset involving a monetary use for gold. Weaker dollar, tariffs, etc. I think it said that gold would have to be $10,000 for it all to make sense. So that is what I voted.

Re: Putin Invades Ukraine II
Yes he does indeed O0 At least he hasn’t started any new forever wars. Let’s revisit that in a couple of weeks. Re: Putin Invades Ukraine II
I think you’re right DS. He wants to stop the expense. And then there is the Biden thing, and the Ukrainian role in the impeachment thing. He probably can’t wait to be rid of supporting their war. And he likes to brag about how many wars he has ended.
At least a couple of those are true.

Re: Long Treasurys
Yes, the kicker is that we could experience short or longer term deflation, which would shake the world. Although, we (including me) all assume that they will create money to prevent that. Ultimately leading to persistent double digit inflation. Honestly I have found it more productive to not try t...
