The Ramones. Saw them in concert on Lido Beach Long Island NY back in 1984.  Grew up in the punk rock-new wave period. It was the most memorable concert and the stage diving was awesome back then.

I change my own oil and just switched from Mobil 1 to extended life Amsoil. So now I will change my oil once a year. Rebalance Permanent Portfolio once a year-change oil once a year!

If you are using Fidelity Funds to avoid transaction fees:  FLBIX for long term treasury and FSBIX for short term bonds

I would stick to the original Harry plan of 25/25/25/25. When I started out LT bonds were high but are lower now. You can never predict which asset class will be in favor.

I am very happy with TD Ameritrade so far. Easy to use web with lots of research tools and I even got my $100 rebate same day I opened the account!

Thanks for your comments. I am going with VTI since it covers over 3,000 stocks vs only 50 for SDY.
