Re: Reasons why I will not be getting injected for the Wuhan

Well Xan, you finally have an answer to the question Murphy refused to answer! According to Hal Turner , Most Who Took COVID Vax will be dead by the year 2025. Note that I have no idea who Hal Turner is and I'm just posting this as a public service so that all of the forumites who got the jab can st...

@Tom: Your salad dressings are likely made with soybean oil. I thought oils other than avocado, olive and coconut were a no-no? On that topic, @Sophie or anyone: I assume the previous references to 'seed oil' meant anything other than the above? I assume your objection is to the industrial extractio...

Re: IMF proposes ‘solidarity’ tax on pandemic winners and wealthy

When I read the thread title, I thought you were referring to individual companies. Like we gave you some PPP money so you wouldn't go bankrupt, but now that you barely survived we're going to tax the crap out of you to make up for the businesses that failed. Which they are basically already doing, ...

Re: Natural Gas Moratorium?

I find that living in a warm, mild climate is the most efficient way to heat my house. LOL, well yes, in theory. I have a 2600 4/3 in a crappy climate heated by natural gas. It costs me around $1300/year to heat it*. I'll bet the cost of living in California more than makes up for that $1300. :D *O...

Ignoring useless posts is, of course, the best response to them; however, it does nothing to redeem the overall quality of the board. I have an idea: How about those folks who care about high-quality discussion in the "Other Discussions" area take the time, at some point this week, to start at leas...

4) Some people are born with crooked teeth. They can't help it. And if they weren't born into an upper class white family, they couldn't afford braces growing up. The pandemic was the first time these people could go out and lead normal lives in public without small children pointing and booing. Ma...

This was just depressing and scary. I like and respect Tim Pool, but WTF? I'm curious about everyone's opinion whether the conclusion he draws is likely or just alt-media nonsense (like all the MSM nonsense).

Re: Whatever happened to ISIS?

I think a significant factor is how much American media companies care to report on. Islamists in general are still up to constant, smoldering no-goodness, but it doesn't make the news too much anymore. For instance, in the last week: Suspected jihadists massacred at least 160 civilians, including ...

Last night, I had dinner with a group of guys I used to play volleyball with years ago. Re: Does PP Only Work In Times of Declining Bond Yields?

In a decade I'll be spending nearly all of my income from my job on apartment rent, meanwhile others in the lower class will have section 8 housing, so it won't even make sense to work anymore at that point if it means I don't qualify for government handouts. Yeah, it was definitely about slavery. Although it wasn't about full on emancipation till its later stages. The South went to war to preserve slavery. The North went to war to preserve the Union. Emancipation was just a political tool for the North to achieve that goal. Yeah. By the way....it was o...

At the risk of angering some with political commentary, of course it's totally the fault of our government. People want to work to produce goods and services, but they are not incentivized to under the system we currently have. Because child care costs are so expensive, it doesn't make sense to wor...

Another anecdote to share. A colleague works at a dental office with 4 DDS and 10 ancillary staff (chairside, hygiene, front desk). 6 of the staff are hard-core covid anti-vax. How many of the anti-vaxxers were taking ivermectin as a prophylactic? I don't know, but I'm guessing zero. Are you taking it? If so, will you just keep taking it forever? That is available by Rx only, and my understanding is that most MDs will not script it, and certainly not prophylacticly. Let m...
