Re: What polcies can be done to prevent mass shootings

Not saying I like it either...my $85 for TSA-Pre is worth every penny. More theater. Aside form the obvious how is it a good thing that the government now has millions of law abiding citizens' fingerprints? , if you were a 911 terrorist hellbent on a suicide mission, why would you hesitate if $85 a...

Re: Stock scream room

I was ridiculed for years because I didn’t ascribe to the philosophy that one or more assets would buoy the portfolio in times of economic distress. We are now witnessing this distress first-hand and the PP has proven it does not have the ability to overcome an inflationary environment with rising ...

Re: What polcies can be done to prevent mass shootings

This is a valid point. But wouldn't you say our airport security laws flag many, maybe thousands of people, only a small handful of which had nefarious intentions? So should that mean we loosen or eliminate airport security? Or do we accept inconvenience to many in pursuit of safety for a relative ...

Re: What polcies can be done to prevent mass shootings

For those of you who are pro-gun control, how do you plan to keep guns out of the hands of criminals (gang bangers, etc)? I mean, it worked so well for drugs..... This question is a good point against draconian gun control laws, but are there any ideas for what to do between confiscation and doing ...

And when you acknowledge that you really can't, how does taking guns away from law abiding citizens solve anything?

Re: What polcies can be done to prevent mass shootings

How many of those homicides are gang related? Those stats mean nothing relative to mass shootings. There were more black on black shootings in Chicago alone over Memorial Day weekend than in Uvalde, Oklahoma or Buffalo. But those don't fit the narrative, so you don't get nationwide hysteria over them.

Re: Washington Journal

It's like that recent viral video of Bill Maher saying something like, "I didn't change, the Democratic Party did." Things evolve. Especially in the modern world. There is no law you have to stay loyal to one party forever. @Vinny, if I moved to Tampa, I would be happy to become a Bucs fan and bail ...

I would be voting Republican if they hadn't gone in their authoritarian bent. This seems to be a common complaint among left-leaning people. Please give me a few examples of what you mean by this. From where I sit, it's the Left that is authoritarian. If you don't follow their playbook to the lette...

No, you’re right, joypog. It has totally been a libertarian hangout. But, enough members have left that it’s hard to tell where the majority is. Definitely not far leftists, of course. Still definitely not even close to being over the liberal / conservative line in some way. There are some liberal ...

Reducing gun violence does not necessarily mean taking away gun ownership rights. As usual when I have Washington Journal on I'm doing one, two, or three other things also so I'm only hearing bits and pieces of it. But the two things that stuck out regarding guns was that when someone brought up wh...

It’s baby formula shortages turn in the spot light. I wonder what humans did for the approximate 300,000 years before it was invented. Well we had fewer pregnant men back then. Post of the week! ;D Indeed. True story: My son could not tolerate Enfamil or whatever was popular back then, so the pedia...

I started paying the $20/year to Google a couple months ago for 100GB. Why I was even concerned about $20 a year I don't know.
Deleting old emails with attachments will free up a lot of space. There is an app that can scan your Gmail account and rank the file size.

I'm not saying he isn't a real rabbi. I'm saying he appears to love Leftism more than Judaism. That is the only logical explanation for his behavior. There is at least one other logical explanation. And that would be what? I would like you to reflect on that a little more before I comment. Still wa...

Re: Most unhinged reaction to SCOTUS leak

Although this man appears to have rabbinical training, his primary religion is not Judaism but Leftism. The giveaway is his use of the terms fascist and patriarchy. Additionally, no respectable member of the clergy, regardless of religion, would publicly post F* You.

Overseas Gold? 2022

Yup, I've dug through the archives. From what I can tell Perth seems like the easiest option for foreign storage. I was just more curious as far as how many people actually follow through on holding / storing gold outside of the home country. If calamity hits, it would be nice to think I have a nes...
