Re: Tankers attacked

When the private sector figures out how to feed at the public trough, that's the end. This is what is bankrupting cities, counties, and states as we speak. Especially the Blue ones that are in cahoots with the public sector unions. But... I'm telling you, if we get into another land war in the Sand...

Re: Tankers attacked

Could you provide a bit more context, or a link? https://www.reuters.com/article/us-mideast-tanker/two-oil-tankers-struck-in-suspected-attacks-in-gulf-of-oman-shipping-firms-idUSKCN1TE0OI Did we do it to justify a war with Iran and more payola for defense contractors? Re: Tesla Motors

I won't be getting into this stock either, but I did buy a Model 3 last month. It is a great car, super fun to drive and not buying gasoline or changing the oil anymore is awesome! Only a few minor design complaints, mostly relating to the 'keys'.

Re: BYND

I think we have discussed this topic before. I think everyone's body is different and perhaps responds better to certain types of food. But I tend to agree with pmward here, and nutrition used to be my hobby. Corto, you have met me IRL and know that I am not overweight. I eat tons of carbs, mostly w...

Re: BYND

As an aside, although the BYND burgers tasted great, they had the oddest smell prior to cooking. Almost didn't go through with it. Yes, exactly. Beyond Burgers taste fine, but they have an odd smell that reminds me faintly of a freshly opened can of dog food. I hope they can improve the product ove...

Re: The Left is Eating Itself Pt. II

Instagram? Is that the same thing as Twitter? No, but if you are under 60 and had to ask, you don't need to know that there is a difference. ;D I just thought if I was someone like Bill Gates or Warren Buffet I'd maybe think twice about accepting an invitation to be a commencement speaker if it cam...

Oh, me too. I wouldn't be surprised if my losers outnumber my winners.
Of course they do, or you'd be trading instead of PPing.

Re: BYND

So if meat production is ruining the planet, and farming is ruining the planet, what is the solution (besides the obvious population control, which isn't happening any time soon in third world areas) ?

Re: BYND

I don't eat much red meat anyway, but if these things are going to go mainstream they need to get the cost to down to comparable. Beef production is bad for the environment and beef consumption is generally not the healthiest choice, but cost is going to be a factor for people to try and make these...
